Run this to see everything the command line tool manages on your machine, with each path and whether it is in place:
Pipe it (hyperspell status | jq .surfaces) to get the same list as JSON. The tool never touches anything outside this list.

What is installed

The tool also keeps your login and settings in ~/.hyperspell/ (readable only by you). Older versions added a block to ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md. The tool no longer does, and removes the block it wrote. hyperspell status shows this as CLAUDE.md block (retired).

Turn something off

hyperspell uninstall removes autostart, the MCP entries, the note blocks, the skill and the plugin, and uninstalls hyperbrain. Only the entries Hyperspell wrote are removed; the rest of each file is left as it was. Run hyperspell status afterwards to confirm nothing is left.
